Quill Inkers is an editing service that offers real-life editors who pour over your work in order to make it perfect. We believe that programmed editing bots and algorithms can only offer an objective spell-proof or grammar check. But we offer so much more!
If you’re struggling with writing, it’s not something to be ashamed of. Many people self edit, but every parent is either too soft or too hard on their creation.
Let us give you a constructive second opinion!
We go through your work with a fine-toothed comb and don’t just correct spelling and grammar issues, but also offer ideas on how you can make your writing structurally sound and more interesting to read.
We offer many services for your benefit:
- Editing – Proofreading
- Editing – Content
- Group sessions
- One on One sessions
Everything will be catered to benefit you, so why not take a chance to expand your skills that will help you every time you lift a pen?
The types of texts we cover include:
- Creative Pieces (short stories, novellas, novels…)
- Academic Pieces (assessments, reflective notebooks, final pieces)
- Statements (artist statements, value propositions, business statements)
- Educational Pieces (HSC practice exams, assessments, reports…)
A Word on Privacy
We understand that people can be very protective of their work, and that copyright is both a moral and legal issue that must be addressed. We acknowledge that anything that is handed over to us to read, edit, or proofread is not ours to patent. We do not own the rights, intellectual or otherwise, to any piece of writing that we are commissioned to handle and we do not have the right to pass on those pieces to any person, or company, outside of our own staff.
Plagiarism is a crime, and is not tolerated within our company. Likewise if we are given a piece to edit that has been plagiarised by the client, without our knowledge, we are not ethically or legally responsible for that plagiarism, the client is.
We may keep a record of the pieces that we accept for Protection reasons, but we will always seek permission from the client if we wish to recommend a further service.
